Happy Hump Day

Whew!  The week is halfway over.  This is my first 5-day work week since I started at Stonecreek and it has been one for the record books.  I think part of the difficulty is that Fel has been super busy at work.  Today he had a meeting before work at 630am, then after work at 530pm and he still isn't home.  Let me tell you, I would not make a good single mom!  This parenting a toddler business is very tricky.  I turned my back for 2 minutes to make me a salad and put the cats in the bedroom (they were trying to eat my dinner) and I find a peanut butter monster.

But then you get proofs of her first class photo and all the stress melts away (the glass of wine doesn't hurt either, thanks mom & pops!)

Anniversary fun!

Our 5 year anniversary came after a long weekend of call, so I wasn't up for much.  Fel picked us up some sushi and a rotisserie chicken from Dillon's and we had a picnic on the balconey.  Tuesday we both stole away for a delicious lunch at the country club on the back patio basking in the sun.  Thanks everyone for the congratulations, awesome cards, and yummy treats!

Happy Easter

Fel took little B to the park twice this weekend while I was stuck @ Mercy rounding.  I'm so glad they got the father-daughter time, but I must say I'm a little jealous.  Already planning some fun activities this weekend while Felipe rounds.. . . .

GG and Gpa Bill are here for the weekend to keep Bella and I company.  We've had a lot of adventures so far - - - rocking on our new rocking horse, silly sunglasses, and building blocks.

Thursday

Today was a lazy day.  We lounged around the house as a family for a bit this morning, until Fel took B in to school (we're trying to keep her on a bit of a routine).  We hit up the Little Apple Toyota Dealership to check out the 2014 Highlanders.  Naive me thought we'd go in, test drive, make an offer, and come home in a new ride.  I think all this vacation has gone to my head and I forgot who I was married to.  We did go in, and meander around the freezing drizzle for a bit and then tried to dodge giving the dealer our contact information. . . . . .

The highlight's of the day were lunch (grilled steak) and sing-a-long @ Bella's school.  Felipe took his guitar and we led a few rounds of Baa Baa Black Sheep, Head Shoulders Knees and Toes, and the Alphabet Song (among others).
