Another whirlwind weekend

I can't even tell you what all we did this weekend.  I blinked and it was over.  Here's a few of the highlights that made it onto "film."

life lately

The days and weeks are flying by in a blur.  B has had her first dentist appt - 20 healthy teeth!  Leo had his 6th month appt, he's growing well though I was quite surprised to see that he is a little guy.

house update

The built-ins have been built in and our new clock is here.  Our sweet little contractor helped us put it together.

Better late than never. . .

Leo's 4th of july art was too cute not to share . . . .

Our renovations are almost done.  They are finishing building in the built-ins as I type and the roofers are coming next week to make a LOT of repairs.  One leak is enough, we want to head off any further damage and headache.

Bella had a carnival at school today, I happened to be off so I got to go as her date.  We had a blast!  They popped up the yummiest popcorn and had face painting, hula hoops, water balloons.  It was a ton of fun.  I'm going to pick her up in a few to go buy some new shoes.  Our little lady has hit that stage where she needs a new size every few months.  I've found I rarely buy for myself now, it's all for her (which truly is just as much fun.)

End of the weekend

Bella is blossoming.  She has a lot to say, is always busy, and is learning the ukulele.  Fel is over the moon.

Happy 5th of July!

Yesterday was awesome!  A cool morning walk, strawberry shortcake for breakfast, we put together our patio furniture, got in a nice afternoon nap, and had a picnic in the park for dinner.  Last night was awful.  The fireworks kept the kiddos up until after 1am, Fel was operating until 230am; I ended up sleeping up little B's floor with her.  Ugh!  Fingers crossed we get back on routine tonight.

The boys had a jam session yesterday - our little man loves music!  I've got some strawberry shortcake in the toaster oven for our 4th of July breakfast (that either makes me the best mom or the worst mom, I'm not sure. . . .)
