Today Fel left for the annual AUA conference.  I thought it would be the perfect time for Bel and I to start a garden.  Rookie mom mistake.  Sometime I will tell you the story. . . .

. . . . . whirlwind weekend of my medical school graduation and wedding reception.  I miss Janssen Place, it was such a beautiful neighborhood.

Pics from Sunday

Sunday was another beautiful day.  We had breakfast @ the Manhattan version of First Watch where I ordered way too much food (but gosh, it was good!) and Bella ate a pancake bigger than her head.  We went and looked a house for sale, which was almost our absolute dream house.  Unfortunately it wasn't in our dream neighborhood.  Buying a house is always a compromise, but we're struggling with what to compromise on.  I baked up a yummy quiche and we had a repeat performance in the water fountains which was every bit as good as the original.  Today are our family photos - so I'm off to find the perfect outfit for Miss B.  Looking through her closet, she's had a little too much fun in all of her existing outfits making them not quite up to a photo shoot.

Water Baby

We had an awesome day yesterday.  I made cheese blintzes for breakfast - which really are really yummy pancakes that have cottage cheese in the batter.  Bella ate 4.5, I ate 3.5, which only left 2 for papa.  Poor guy.  After breakfast we headed to the farmer's market which I just love.  Felipe always whines and complains until we get there and he realizes it's not too bad.  We picked up some asparagus for today's quiche, radishes, cucumber lemonade and homemade butterhorn roles.  We even rewarded him with a slice of pizza at one of the local pizza parlors.  After nap we took Bella to play in the fountains.  She loved them last year, but this year she was really able to enjoy them on a whole new level.
