Here are some of my faves - - I'm a sucker for a sleeping baby.
This blog chronicles the day to day life of 2 physicians, 2 kiddos, and 2 kitties for better or for worse. . . .

33 - bring it on
33 is shaping up to be an adventure. A full time job, a very independent toddler, and a vocal newborn (not to mention 2 cats and a husband.) I spent yesterday in my pj's, online shopping and snuggling leo. Treated myself to 3 new pairs of shoes! (All sensible and work appropriate of course.) Leo and I did make it out for a quick walk, enoying the lovely weather. He loves the moby wrap and fell right to sleep.
Goals for 33: complete the couch to 5k running program, find the "perfect" red lipstick, potty train bella, leo sleep through the night, go on a family vacation.

The whole 9 months
I remember we found out we were pregnant the night before our family pictures. Felipe was happy with the news, but devastated we would have to repeat family picture in 9 months. This pregnancy was quite an adventure. Baby Leo was an international traveler while he was still in my belly. His big sister liked to watch him grow most of the time. Sometimes she would brush his teeth and feed him through my belly button.

Scootin'
After pointing out countless helmets - on Elmo, on Grover, on Zoey - Bella has decided helmets are "cool" and decided to wear hers. We have finally embarked on our first scooter adventure and she is FAST!

The perfect storm of parenting
Three major milestones have collided - and we are feeling the aftermath. Little B really is handling things like a champ.

Whew! 1 week down.
This past week has been a whirlwind, but we are all starting to adjust. There's been a lot of tears (some of them mine), but I think that is expected given all the big changes around here. Bella has been an excellent big sister despite throwing several curve balls her way, one of them being a switch to a toddler bed. While I've got Fel home the crib was awesome, but he goes to work in 1 week and I can't lift more than 10 pounds which makes getting her in/out of the crib impossible. We thought about just teaching her to climb out, but decided that rather defeated the purpose. Felipe took her to Target yesterday where she picked out an over-priced/under-quality Frozen bedding set. So far she's done pretty good. We've only had to put her back to bed once each session, so I'm hopeful.
I think Leo is finally starting to get some meat on his bones. He's eating like a champ and is a pretty good sleeper. Definitely feeling the sleep deprivation, but it's truly going better tan I could have ever expected.
I'm recovering nicely. The pain is much less this time around, I think its because I knew just what to expect. Fingers crossed I get this catheter out tomorrow and then the real recovery can begin.

27 months
Bella is already such a good big sister. She loves to hold leo on her lap and is quick to bring him is wubbunubs. I'm so proud of her! tonight when Felipe was giving her a much needed bath, I was sitting on the couch with leo and eavesdropping on their conversation. They talked about everything from anna (frozen), to haircuts, and going to the mall. The even suggested that momma and papa go on a date night.
Current faves: holding baby leo on her lap, anna (frozen), helping cook, her daily piece of chocolate, minnie mouse, macaroni and cheese, quesadillas, flower undies, "I do it myself"
Current dislikes: monster snowman, being rushed, "I don't like that" is a new fave phrase of hers.

Leonardo Andres Rosso
Meet little Leo - who entered this world with a roar on 1/10/15 @ 22 minutes after midnight. He weight 6 pounds, 9 oz and was 19 inches long. Right now he has blue eyes and light brown hair. He toots a lot, and really loves to drink milk and snooze. He's gotten to meet lots of friends and family so far and has been the perfect little gentleman.

My favorite recipes from 2014
This year I've had to adapt my cooking style a bit - breakfast food reigned supreme as did the quick 30 minute meal. We bid farewell to anything too spicy or too salty. Even with the changes we ended up with some definite faves.
