The Best of 2015

January.

We got to meet Baby Leo.

February.

We got to sing and play music with Bella's class.

March.

Had our 1st Family Pizza date night which is now a monthly tradition I cherish.  We've made some great friends over pizza.

April.

GG was a blessing and Bella went peepee in the potty!

May.

Closed on the new house and put together A LOT of ikea furniture.

June.

We moved - ugh!

July.

Bella had her 1st dentist appointment and Leo tried the swings!

August.

Got some great pics of the kids, Bella got a haircut, and we had our first family camping experience.

September.

Went on our annual beach trip with some great friends to Sullivan's Island.

October.

It was the month of Bella - a birthday trip to the pumpkin patch and Omaha plus visits from all of her favorite people.

November.

Road trip to Hutchinson, Leo's first haircut, and he learned to walk!

December.

Fel's band had their first gig and we all had a wonderful Christmas.

Merry Christmas!

Christmas has been a splendid success.  B woke up at the crack of dawn and immediately hated her presents.  Luckily once she woke up a little more, she changed her mind:)

Girls date!

After breakfast B and I went on a girls date.  Her pick. . . . . . . the mall!  We started out at the bouncy house, rode the ponies, at some candy, took a peek at Santa Claus, bounced some more, and ended with some lunch (and icecream) at chickfila.  I had a blast!

A little shorter. . . .a little taller

B got a haircut this weekend and Leo learned to stand in his crib.  Fel and his band had the first gig. . . . . .and I got 5 new pimples.  I definitely got the short end of that stick.

11 months!

This kiddo has 3 teeth that he loves to use (both on food and his sister!), can scoot on his booty, walk with a push toy, and is a total joy to be around.

I can sing the rainbow. . .

B and her buddies at school made up a song about rainbows.  She sings it ALL the time.

Gingerbread houses

Some of our family besties from Topeka came to visit today.  All of the kids had a blast - we played dress-up, decorated gingerbread houses, and even braved the cold to run around outside.  Everyone at our house is wiped out. . . .but I can't seem to coordinate both kids sleeping at the same time so I can rest too!

bella's christmas pageant

Bella's class put on a Christmas pageant this week at the country club.  I was so sure she was going to get nervous and not perform, but this little lady sang her heart out!

Snow day

Ugh!  School was cancelled today, which means Bella and Leo's "school" was closed too.  Which means I had to miss work (and I was actually excited to go back.)  But, I did get to witness a few magic moments.. . 

Thanksgiving

Had a quiet Thanksgiving yesterday - well, quiet other than a few major tantrums.  B and I decided we needed to get out of the house, we were both going a little stir-crazy, and braved the Thanksgiving sale at JC penney.  She was so patient waiting in line to buy her new frozen skirt/shirt.

Musings of a 3 year old. . .

Bella woke up at 5am this morning and had several interesting things to say. . . .

1. mom, you're getting old
2. when your ear itches, stick your finger in and just itch it
3. I think i'm going to pee in your bed.

1st haircut

This handsome guy rocked his first haircut today.  

10 months!

The past year has flown!  Leo slept through the night last night for the second time ever, and he is working on 3 top teeth.  He loves to stand, loves to eat, and is a total momma's boy.  He already tries to old his own against Bella, and doesn't back down.

Hutchinson

Had a great time in Hutchinson yesterday.  We made our customary trip to Bogey's and enjoyed some delicious fried mushrooms and an oreo milkshake.  Bella ran wild outdoors with her cousins and Leo snuggled with everyone.

Trick or Treat!

Halloween sneak peak. . . .

Today was Bella's halloween party at school.  She's growing up so fast!

We have a Halloween party tomorrow and will try to get pics of both kiddos dressed up.

9 months. . . .

I'm 15 days late on this one, but I think Leo would have come 15 days late if we would have let him cook in my belly that long.

He's a total momma's boy (which I love!)  He also likes to eat, and eat, and eat.  No specific favorite foods yet.  He's back to being a good night sleeper and looks so cute in his pajamas.  He would stand all day if you'ld let him and he loves to bust a move.
