We finished installing Bella's art corner.  There was blood. There was sweat.  And there were tears.

Life lately

We're starting to fall into a rhythm in our new house.  Sleep and wake times are still a bit variable, but everyone is in their beds so I'm pleased.

Happy Father's Day

I hope everyone had a great weekend.  We got a ton done on the house, I even got to use a power drill!  Despite the hard work there was plenty of time to eat (fel grilled some delish steaks) and play at the splash park.

We made it!

Lots and lots of unpacking left, but 2/3 of the Rosso house have made it to the Heartland.  Elo and Jackson are still at the old place, maxin' and relaxin'.  Big B slept in her bed the whole night last night, I'm such a proud momma!

House update. . . .

The furniture arrived yesterday, right on time.  Unfortunately, ended up with the incorrect pillows for the couch and the table top holes did not match the holes in the base so the table couldn't be secured.

Happiness project - May

I've been so busy with kids, work, renovations, and preparing for this move I really haven't focused much on trying to be more happy.  But, here goes. . .

May was "be serious about play" and focused on leisure (something I've never really been good at.)  her goes were to find more fun, take time to be silly, go off the path, and start a collection.  

We tried to say yes to every social engagement this month, which was a lot of fun.  It was nice to get outside our comfort zone of being homebodies and to see Bella blossom and play with other kids.  I'm counting this has finding more fun and going off our path.  We are a pretty silly house, so that one didn't take much work.  To Felipe's dismay I've decided to collect globes, ala these pictures - - -
